FELFEL has turned 13. Since 2013, we’ve been passionately bringing great food to the workplace, creating moments when people can come together and enjoy themselves. To celebrate the anniversary, our founders said “thank you,” and we celebrated as a team.

When Daniela and Emanuel Steiner founded FELFEL in 2013, they had a simple idea: Good food should be available where people work. Today, the FELFEL refrigerator (Smart Fridge) can be found at over 1,000 companies throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
To celebrate our anniversary, the two of us recorded a message. And it begins with a big thank you to everyone who makes FELFEL possible: to our partner chefs and small-scale producers who love their craft; to Our Team, which puts its heart and soul into this every day; to the companies that place their trust in us; and to everyone who picks up their favorite meal every day.
The feedback we receive every day is especially important to both of them. Whether it's praise or a suggestion, every piece of feedback motivates us to get just a little bit better.
Tacos, salsa, and a cake that disappeared in no time
Of course, we celebrated as a team, too, and good food was a must that day. We had tacos with spicy salsa—fresh and homemade. They were prepared by Herbert Hartmann, Nikola Vukosavljevic, Hannes Erni, and Maud van de Wiel.
For dessert, we had a birthday cake made by Corina Brändle, our cake expert. It was gone before we could even sing “Happy Birthday.”
Great Food at Work—for 13 Years
What began in 2013 continues to drive us today: freshly cooked meals from partner chefs, delivered every workday and available around the clock in the FELFEL fridge. The menus change weekly—and sometimes daily—and 10 new dishes are added every week.
