THE FOUNDING FAMILY
We are the Steiner family, Daniela and Emanuel. As a small, family-run company, FELFEL is close to our heart - our business baby, so to speak.
How did it all begin? With frustration! Emanuel was working in an office in the middle of Zurich and was unhappy: "There's simply nothing good to eat! Take-away? Not tasty! Supermarket salad? Too expensive! Restaurant? Takes two hours! And worst of all: everyone splits up over lunch because they want to eat different things. This can't be it - FELFEL needs to be created!
Together with over 100 FELFELians at our two locations in Lausanne and Zurich, as well as our partners throughout Switzerland, we are the FELFEL family - a sustainably managed company characterised by trust, commitment and a great deal of passion from each individual. Every day we are personally and actively committed to the satisfaction and well-being of our customers.

It is still rumoured today that Emanuel's fear of "eating alone" was the main reason behind founding FELFEL. Thanks to FELFEL employees in companies all over Switzerland can now enjoy lunch together.

FELFEL acquires its direct competitor Snäx. With the acquisition, FELFEL strengthens its position as market leader in employee catering and pushes forward with its rapid growth.

FELFEL EXPANDS INTO OFFICE COFFEE
FELFEL expands and enters the office coffee business with the newly created concept "Gavetti".

FELFEL TRIPLES ITS SECOND LOCATION SIZE IN LAUSANNE
Demand for FELFEL is also growing strongly in French-speaking Switzerland, therefore the team and office are doubled in size.
