WHAT DOES MY COMPANY NEED TO DO TO OFFER A FELFEL?

The FELFEL concept is a complete food service offering, so the company doesn’t have to do anything – except provide a power outlet. There are different pricing models at which the company can offer the FELFEL to their employees (depending on the monthly service charge). Give us a call or book a free tasting, we are happy to tell you more!

MY OFFICE IS HIDDEN AWAY IN A TINY VILLAGE UP IN THE MOUNTAINS – DO WE HAVE TO LIVE WITHOUT FELFEL?

Luckily, you don't. FELFEL and our good food is available everywhere in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

HOW DOES SETTING UP A FELFEL WORK?

We deliver the FELFEL to your office and install it in a suitable spot – usually in your cafeteria or coffee corner. On the day of the launch, we offer a free tasting to all of your employees. We hand out personalized FELFEL badges to all of your colleagues and explain how it works. Again, this is on us – no cost to the employer, and we take care of all the details!

WE'D LOVE TO HAVE A FELFEL BUT WE'RE LESS THAN 50 EMPLOYEES. IS THERE ANOTHER OPTION FOR US?

ARE THERE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FELFEL FRIDGES AND OFFERS?

To cater for different needs, we offer the following models: FELFEL Classic, FELFEL Mini for smaller companies with under 50 employees and FELFEL Maxi for big companies. HOW MUCH DOES A FELFEL COST AND HOW MUCH FOR THE DISHES?

With FELFEL you won't have any acquisition costs or effort: we install your FELFEL, fill it up und take care of service and maintenance. Our support is available to you daily in four languages. Instead of rent you just pay a monthly service fee.

FELFEL is considerably less expensive than having a canteen and additionally offers lots of free extras, like a launch party, ice cream surprise or tasting event. Employees can already have breakfast and enjoy organic drinks starting at CHF 1.50. Every day there are over 10 different lunches for just CHF 7 to CHF 12.

HOW CAN OUR EMPLOYEES WHO WORK FROM HOME BENEFIT FROM FELFEL?

WHAT INFRASTRUCTURE DO WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO INSTALL A FELFEL AT OUR COMPANY?

A small, free (well-located) spot of about 1 m2 with a power socket within reach and Swisscom mobile reception. Voilà.

HOW MANY MICROWAVES ARE NEEDED PER FELFEL?

This depends on the number of employees and the size of the break room, or how staggered the lunch breaks are. We would recommend about 3-5 microwaves (average) per FELFEL at the beginning.

CAN WE USE OUR COMPANY BADGES?

The easiest solution is to recommend the FELFEL app to your employees, where everyone can register independently. If desired, we can provide physical badges, which can typically also be linked to company badges. We will be happy to clarify this before installation.

HOW OFTEN IS THE FELFEL FILLED?

We are on site every day in the pre-arranged time slot in the morning before 11 am. We also empty the recycling boxes for our PP packaging then.

WHERE CAN I SEE THE CURRENT MENU?

You can always find this week’s menu on your my.FELFEL.ch account. The online portal even shows you which dishes are in your FELFEL fridge at that very moment – but first you have to get a FELFEL in your office!

DO WE HAVE TO PRE-ORDER THE DISHES?

Fortunately you don't. There is plenty of space in the FELFEL, and typically there is something for every taste and budget. The fridge is "intelligent": it refills what is in particular demand. With time and regular consumption, our assessments become better and better.

AM I ABLE TO INFLUENCE THE WEEKLY MENU?

Yes, you can. Our Food Scouts love to get feedback! Many of our dishes were inspired by customer ideas; send us an email at support@felfel.ch anytime.

ARE THE PORTIONS LARGE ENOUGH?

There are smaller and larger dishes. A full, warm lunch can contain more than 500g - even hungry employees will be satisfied.

HOW OFTEN DOES THE MENU CHANGE?

The entire menu changes weekly – you could go for a year without ever eating the same lunch twice! Certain FELFEL favorites return every few months. Classics, breakfast snacks and drinks are offered a bit longer.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR MEALS COST?

You can find the prices when you login to your my.felfel account. On the home screen under every photo the price is written. Prices start from CHF 1.50 for a yoghurt and rise to CHF 12 for the heavier meals.

CAN WE PUT TOGETHER THE MENUS OURSELVES?

We are happy to take care of that. Our food scouts bring new products to the FELFEL every week, as well as popular hits in different combinations. We make sure that the selection includes something for every food preference. Vegetarian, vegan, hearty or with meat, there is something for every taste.

WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE PACKAGING?

FELFEL meals are carefully packed in PP boxes that protect the ingredients and ensure their freshness. PP is a 100% recyclable material. A dedicated recycling bin is made available to every company by FELFEL. Our team is collecting the packages regularly with our bio gas vehicles and brings them to a recycling facility in Switzerland. We love our planet and each and every step of the process has been thoroughly designed to have the smallest footprint possible. Our team is constantly searching for new ways of improving it and making it even more sustainable. Our PET bottles can be recycled through the national recycling programme, just like at home :)

HOW DOES FELFEL LIVE SUSTAINABILITY?

Sustainability is a central concern for FELFEL and one of the team's three corporate values. The three key pillars of sustainability at FELFEL include: the health of employees in the workplace as a central element, ecological action and support for the local economy with a focus on small family businesses.

WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THE PACKAGING?

The type of material is mentioned on the packaging. Our fresh dishes with short shelf lives are typically packed in PP boxes, which is a safe solution. PP plastic is easily recyclable, so we do it for free, here locally in Switzerland and via the recycling box we provide.

WHAT HAPPENS WITH EXPIRED PRODUCTS?

Throughout Switzerland we have a cooperation with Caritas, through which we can distribute products that are still edible to people in need. In addition to constant analysis and replenishment according to consumption, there is also a happy hour on Fridays where fresh dishes can be bought at half price from 3pm.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE OFFERED?

We are very happy to offer the following payment methods: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, TWINT, PostFinanceCard and Reka.

HOW DO PREPAID CARDS WORK?

Payment with prepaid cards is only possible in companies that wish to offer them specifically. The cards can be redeemed at the FELFEL as follows: Click "Prepaid Card Redemption" -> Scan card -> Hold badge to the FELFEL icon. This way, the badge is automatically topped up with the amount on the prepaid card.

ARE THERE ALSO VOUCHERS AND IF YES, HOW CAN WE USE THEM?

With the FELFEL gifting function on the app or online on your user account, you can send a small gift with a personal message to your work colleagues at any time.

CAN I SUBSIDISE DISHES FOR MY TEAM?

Yes, that's possible. With various FELFEL subsidies, you can say thank you to your employees in a simple and special way. Our individual options can be optimally tailored to you and your team. HOW TO HEAT UP FELFEL DISHES?

The easiest and quickest way is in the microwave at 600 watts. There is a time recommendation on the label on each dish. Of course, the dishes can also be heated in a steamer or simply in a pan - depending on your infrastructure.

HOW DO I PURCHASE SOMETHING DELICIOUS FROM THE FELFEL NOW?

Register -> Activate Account -> Add payment method -> Connect Badge or use QR Code -> Open FELFEL -> Take out, scan & finish purchase -> Close & enjoy!

CAN I ALSO USE THE FELFEL OF ANOTHER COMPANY OR ANOTHER LOCATION OF OUR COMPANY?

Of course - once you have installed a FELFEL account, you can get your favourite dishes from any FELFEL in Switzerland.

Our fresh dishes are produced exclusively in Switzerland. The meat comes from here - always. We guarantee that.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF THE PRODUCTS? DO THEY CONTAIN ADDITIVES?

The products are freshly prepared every day. Glutamate and other chemical flavour enhancers are taboo. Fresh dishes last for 3-5 days.

WHERE CAN I FIND ALLERGEN INFORMATION?

In the top left corner of our labels, you find symbols* from which you can retrieve first information. If the symbols aren’t sufficient, you always find all the ingredients written on the label or when you click on the menus in your profile. *Find their description in the app or on myfelfel.ch (scroll down to the bottom).

WHERE CAN I GET CUTLERY FROM?

If your company has the cutlery delivery included, you’ll find forks and spoons in a wooden box beneath the FELFEL. Knives aren’t needed for our dishes! ;)

ARE THE PACKAGES MICROWAVE SAFE?

The packages of our hot meals, the PP Boxes, are microwave safe. Lift the lid slightly before putting the box into the microwave. In the top right corner of the label, you also find the recommended heating minutes. We do not recommend to put the other packages into the microwave.

Thank you for your request. We are constantly expanding our home delivery service, so it's possible that your postcode will be covered soon. We'll let you know in any case.

WHERE CAN I PLACE HOME DELIVERY ORDERS?

Go to my.felfel.ch, log in and click on ‘Delivery’ on the top bar of the start page. You can then choose which dishes you’d like to have delivered to your home for the current week. Be aware that the minimum amount to order is CHF 45 and the delivery fee CHF 10.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE PACKAGING AFTER EATING?

Our PP Boxes are 100% recyclable. After you have enjoyed your meal, please rinse the box quickly and always throw it into the blue PP bin. Our drivers will collect them and bring them to the recycling location.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A DISH TO COME BACK?

The menu changes weekly and will not be repeated in exactly this weekly combination. Of course, we have dishes that are so popular that they always find their way back into the FELFEL. However, this only happens after 6-8 weeks at the earliest.

WHERE CAN I REGISTER AND CREATE MY USER ACCOUNT?

You can access and set up your user account in my.felfel.ch. With choosing ‘sign in’ on https://felfel.ch/ get to the login and register page. You can also simply download our FELFEL app and log into your account there. With the app you can also open the fridge, so the badge is no longer needed.

THERE IS A DISH LEFT IN THE APP, BUT I CAN'T FIND IT IN THE FELFEL FRIDGE. HOW COME?

It can sometimes happen that users forget to scan a product. In such cases, the inventory does only change physically and the app inventory remains equal (as the system didn’t recognize a barcode scan).

HELP, I HAVE LOST MY BADGE. WHAT CAN I DO NOW?

No worries, it can happen to the best. Please remove the badge in your my.felfel account (PROFILE -> MANAGE BADGE -> REPLACE) and get a new one at the person taking care of the FELFEL in your company. If you don’t know who this is, contact us via support@felfel.ch or +41 43 536 74 51 and we will tell you. :)

HOW CAN I DEACTIVATE MY BADGE?

Just contact us and we will deactivate your badge for you. Maybe your new company also has a FELFEL fridge? In that case, you can take the badge with you and tell us your new business email address. If they don’t have a FELFEL yet, why not recommending it. Two weeks of free FELFEL Food are waiting for you. ;)

MY PRODUCT HAS ACCIDENTALLY BEEN SCANNED TWICE. HOW DO I DELETE IT?

Please write an email to us with the details of the meal which got charged too much. We will manually correct it. You can also shortly call +41 43 536 74 51 to do so. :)

I FORGOT TO SCAN MY PRODUCT. CAN I STILL DO IT NOW?

Please write an email to us with the details of the meal. We will then manually charge it to your account. You can also shortly call +41 43 536 74 51 to do so .:)

WHERE CAN I SEE MY CURRENT ACCOUNT BALANCE?

Your account balance is shown in your profile. In the app you’ll see it when pressing on the profile icon and on my.felfel.ch, when clicking on "Profile" on the top bar of the start page.

CAN I PAY WITH MY COMPANY BADGE?

Please contact the person responsible for FELFEL in your company. They will be able to give you all the necessary information.

I DO NOT WANT TO DEPOSIT A PAYMENT METHOD IN MY USER ACCOUNT. HOW CAN I STILL PAY?

In this case you can simply top up your account with money from your PostFinance, TWINT, Reka or Lunch Check account.
