Where can you find the best coffee, bar or restaurant? Our FELFELians from the Lausanne office share their personal favourites across Romandie.
Cozy and seriously good coffee
Eleven Coffee, Vevey
For Jeanne, it’s off to Vevey and Eleven Coffee. This little café is one of her favourite spots in town and just the right place for a great cup of coffee or matcha and a relaxed break. And if you have some time afterwards, make sure to explore Vevey a little further. Jeanne has a whole list of foodie favourites in the city that she’s happy to share if needed.

Chicken wings and dancing on tables
The Great Escape, Lausanne
If the Lausanne crew were to agree on a bar, it would probably be The Great Escape. During the week, they serve fresh lunch dishes; on weekends, brunch; and in the evenings, appetizer platters and juicy chicken wings to go with a beer. But what really makes the place special for Luca is the atmosphere. There’s practically something going on here every night. And on the weekends? It’s not uncommon to see people dancing on the tables to nostalgic throwbacks.

Wood-fired chicken on a Sunday
Auberge de Dully, Dully
Jessica’s perfect Sunday takes her to Lake Geneva—more specifically, to the Auberge de Dully. The restaurant is best known for its wood-fired chicken, served with rösti. For Jessica, it’s clearly the best chicken far and wide! And even if you’re already full by then, you should still save room for the famous tarte à la crème. According to Jessica, it’s absolutely to die for.

The best pizza with a lake view
LA TERRASSE, LUTRY
When the sun is shining, Daniel is drawn to La Terrasse in Lutry. Located right on the harbor, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner with a beautiful view and even more beautiful sunsets. His favorite? The pizzas. Daniel considers them among the best in French-speaking Switzerland, and the truffle-sausage pizza is definitely a must-try. It’s the perfect place to wind down after a long week.

Hugo Spritz and Greek platters
La Générale, Pully
Samantha’s favourite spot for a relaxed afterwork is La Générale in Pully. This cosy buvette sits right by the lake and is her perfect place to meet up with friends. Her favourite way to get there? Grab a Lime bike after work and cycle over for a Hugo Spritz. Add a Greek platter or their smash burger with pommes grenailles, and you’ve got everything you need for a perfect summer evening.
