Under the USEGO Lädeli brand, FELFEL is launching FELFEL new service offerings for Swiss businesses. Together with the FELFEL Fridge and the Gavetti coffee solution, this Gavetti a comprehensive, one-stop catering package.
What once connected thousands of neighborhood shops is now making a comeback. The new offering is designed specifically for businesses without their own cafeterias and combines snacks, sandwiches, and hot lunch options in a smart refrigerator that can be flexibly adapted to companies of all sizes.
A response to the changing reality of work
More and more companies are looking for straightforward, cost-effective solutions for employee meals. Traditional cafeterias are often no longer viable, while expectations regarding quality and flexibility are on the rise. The new USEGO Lädeli comprises three modules: USEGO Snacks for a quick bite between meals, USEGO Sandwich, and USEGO Lunch with hot meals for under 10 francs. All options are available around the clock. “We see that companies need a simple and reliable solution that works without infrastructure or staff, yet still offers an attractive food selection,” explains Dr. Raphael Gugerli, CEO of FELFEL . “With the USEGO Lädeli, we’re delivering exactly that.”
Nostalgia meets the spirit of the times
At its peak, the “Union Schweizerische Einkaufsgesellschaft Olten” (USEGO) supplied over 4,000 small shops across Switzerland and remains synonymous with familiarity, down-to-earth values, and quality to this day. FELFEL acquired the brand rights and reinterpreted the concept for today’s workplace. Today, after two years of intensive development involving prototypes and product line testing, the market launch is complete. The development took place in close collaboration with Swiss manufacturing and commercial enterprises. “We asked a specific question: What do employees really need in their daily lives?” says Milena Lüchinger, Strategic Product Manager at FELFEL. “The result is an offering that covers everything from snacks and beverages to a hot lunch. Uncomplicated, affordable, and simply good.” The pilot phase has now been successfully completed, and 35 businesses already have a USEGO refrigerator. FELFEL, Gavetti the USEGO Lädeli thus form a modular 360° catering package. Businesses that want to offer their employees more than just a coffee machine can find a complete, modular package from a single source.
